12 Volt LED Home Lighting Products
12V LED home lighting is rapidly becoming the very future of lighting itself. Filament based lighting converts 90% of all electricity into raw heat. Not only does this cause the bulb to eventually burn out, but it also heats the room and subsequently increases energy costs on cooling. LED technology replaces this gas and filament with superior technology with more cost effective results. LED’s utilize semiconductor technology to radiate light without heat and only require 12V to operate. As such, they last much longer than halogen and fluorescent bulbs, and they do not heat the room or increase the power bill if used too often. 12V LED home lighting system provides protection against short-circuiting via remote fused 12VAC transformers. Easy and quick to install, LED strip lights illuminate built-in bookcases and freestanding furniture without unsafe and damaging heat.
Phantom 12V LED lighting strips allow for an even distribution of light from an unobtrusive lighting source that adapts itself readily to built-in bookcases and freestanding furniture. The variable LED spacing insures even saturated light output and options for 120-degree or 60-degree optic angles depending on situational lighting requirements and desired aesthetic outcome.
12V LED home lighting proves ideal for kitchen lighting and task lighting. We custom cut each strip lighting fixture to match the dimensions of cabinets and desks. With a CM, AC, or AE series festoon light, 12V LED home lighting can illuminate every corner within a cabinet, making it easier to find spices, cans, foods, and small appliances quickly and easily. Our patented fixed surface wiring keeps the fixture itself invisible and maximizes the aesthetic of the lighting experience. Task lighting for desks and other home work areas also delivers a comfortable amount of light that prevents eyestrain, as Phantom LED 12V lighting strips output five times the amount of standard festoon lighting products. They are also fully dimmable and do not require the complex special components necessary to operate DC counterparts.
12V LED home lighting offers so many obvious benefits that one can readily see how this technology will soon replace gas and filament light sources. With long bulb life, low energy input, and low-heat output, LED lights can deliver everything previous technologies offered without wasting money or producing environmentally damaging side effects. Call one of our lighting agents or lighting representatives now to get a head start on the future of all lighting.

Picture Frame Lighting & Fine Art Lighting Projectors
When purchasing picture frame lights, it is very important to consider total wattage output, voltage, and heat resultant from the lighting. Picture frame lights can damage fine works of art if they burn too hot and remove moisture from textiles and oil paints. Moisture loss in turn leads to cracking and deterioration that can both damage the look and longevity of the piece. Low voltage picture frame lights are usually the preferred choice among art collectors these days because of their small size and high level of output. However, they generate heat that can be a hazard to fine art. Choosing the right lights is therefore somewhat complicated, as heat is the main determining factor. Lighting design companies normally handle this for homeowners by installing switched outlets behind the art to conceal unsightly cords and to mount the fixtures properly on top of the frame. Picture frame lights also work well to illuminate library bookcases and other forms of art using direct mount wall attachments. However, the cost of special configuration can quickly add up if the modifications are anything more than basic.
With today's emerging technology in projector lighting, picture frame lights are quickly gaining the reputation as a low-cost alternative to more advanced and versatile lighting methods. However, the nuisance of bulb replacement is another variable many people neglect to factor into their daily lives. Tubular lamps commonly used in over the picture lights have a short lamp life of 1000 hours that can be that can be difficult to change or reach depending on the location of the art. When one compares the variable cost of labor, maintenance, and replacement to the fixed price of a single device that will do it all, it quickly becomes evident that Phantom Projectors, representing new and highly user-friendly technology, can outperform traditional picture frame lights and offer additional features no other lighting device deliver.
Phantom Lighting offers a number of Contour Projectors with multiple enclosures specifically designed for easy installation, multiple lighting settings, and special effects. Installed in ceilings above art collections, they are out of range of normal vision and for all practical purposes invisible to the viewing audience. With precise beam and illumination controls, they produce a magical luminescence that appears to come from within the art itself. This "lighting from within" effect adds a unique mystique and ambience to any artwork that partly inspired the name "Phantom." With easy to learn masking methods and multiple lens combinations, the Phantom Contour Projector can illuminate prints, photography, fine china collections and rare books, and priceless sculptures. For those who favor multiple genres and style, the Phantom is the most cost-effective and the most efficient investment to make, as it will fulfill traditional picture frame lighting requirements and add museum quality lighting effects to other forms of art - and even furniture and architecture - within the room.
Picture frame lights will always be with us and offer a specific, cost-effective benefit to a particular niche market. It is wise to strongly consider the Phantom Projector, however, when one considers a broader application with a fixed price point, greater longevity, and almost zero maintenance.

LED Light Bulbs are the Future of Strip Lighting
The miniature size of LED light bulbs makes them an ideal component for Phantom Lighting's proprietary strip lighting series. They offer a perfect fit for small and custom-fitted strip light fixtures. Operating at low voltage, LED light bulbs consume far less energy than other lighting technologies and therefore generate less heat. Incandescent lamps turn 90% of the energy they consume into heat. When they become hot to the touch they can pose a fire hazard and give off enough heat to damage delicate works of art. LED lamps offer the ideal replacement for Incandescent and Xenon festoon lighting systems because they can burn longer without damage to art, offer no physical discomfort or fire hazard from excess heat, and contribute to lower energy bills.
Commercial clients of Phantom Lighting almost universally choose strip lighting manufactured with LED light bulbs to illuminate rare and sensitive artwork. Since many oils and canvases suffer degradation from UV rays and heat, gallery curators prefer low voltage LED light bulbs because of their, cool operating temperatures and absence of UV radiation. LED's render color at a superior index than incandescent and halogen light bulbs. Incandescent and halogen lighting utilizes lenses to produce color. Passing light through a lens, however, causes color to weaken in intensity and lose effect. LED's output colored light directly onto the subject without a lens, producing millions of colors with clarity and vibrancy.
In Cabinet lights with LED bulbs prove ideal for illuminating statuary, china, and fine art. New light emitting diode technology has advanced to include multiple color choices including warm white, moving away from first generation offerings that had a blue tint. This warm white ambiance looks like a magical glow on bookshelves, cabinets, and lighting kitchen under cabinets. LED's offer added value through backward compatibility, as diode technology allows retrofitting to any lighting system operating on 12V alternating current. These bulbs have an extremely long light - the longest, in fact, of any bulb on today's market. Whereas a standard filament bulb lasts for only about 1500 hours, an LED bulb will often last up to 100,000 hours. This significantly reduces maintenance and replacement costs, particularly for those who want specialty lighting fixtures left on throughout the night and even during the day. Savings equivocates to return on investment, so with both energy saving features and longer burn time, LED light bulbs clearly offer a cost-competitive advantage over halogen and incandescent equivalents.
