Lighting Fixture Manufacturer

What Makes Phantom Lighting Unique Among Lighting Fixture Manufacturers?

Phantom Lighting is a unique low voltage light fixture manufacturer for a number of reasons. Instead of creating an inventory of generic products that contractors and end users must figure out how to apply to custom needs, Phantom takes a basic model fine art projector or linear lighting strip and customizes it to the environment and needs of the individual client. This allows contractors to specifically address the needs of the end user in a personal fashion, and it allows end users to call their own shots when placing an order through a Phantom Agent. This uniqueness has earned Phantom a reputation for proprietary customization in fine art and display lighting products that have found their way into homes, offices, retail establishments, libraries, and museums throughout North, Central, and South America. The Contour projector has experienced worldwide acclaim for its magical “lighted from within” effect, and our linear display lighting strips are equally renowned for their near invisible presence, low voltage power savings, and wireless conduction of electricity.

Phantom leads the art lighting manufacturing industry in a pioneer of user-customization and technical optimization for commercial and residential illumination.

What Makes Phantom Contour Projectors Unique?

First of all, the Phantom combines a high-powered halogen light source with a complex, easily adjustable set of filters that keep the light free from UV and infrared radiation. Phantom manufactures five Contour Projector models that can be custom installed into any ceiling, seamlessly, without damage to the surrounding structure. Furthermore, each of these models is also designed to not only avoid any harm to the ceiling structure, but to also conceal its visible presence from the eye of the casual viewer. Clients who are looking for a sheik, sophisticated and professional presentation of their fine art collection can rely upon this art lighting projector to showcase the maximum value of their artwork and to also provide special effect and mood-related lighting upon command.

Can Phantom fine art projectors showcase rare and valuable paintings?

Yes. Because of the Contour fine art projectors amazing ability to filter out UV and ultraviolet light, collectors in both private and public arenas rely upon Phantom projectors to showcase and protect their most rare and valuable paintings. Phantom Projectors also produce a superior spectrum of light that rivals natural light with none of is deleterious effects.

How do other forms of art appear when lit with a Contour fine art projector?

Photography, pastels, personal oils, and watercolors will look superb both in color and in depth when illuminated by the Contour’s “lighted from within” effect.

This phenomenon is produced by passing the light through a series of lenses and filters that makes the beam itself invisible until it strikes the surface of a painting or sculpture. No other commercial lighting manufacturer can make that claim.

Phantom Lighting Manufacturing Sales Representatives Provide Design Assistance & Technical Support.

Phantom manufacturing sales representatives are responsible for many services beyond typical sales and marketing. In a very real sense, they are technical experts who provide solutions through ongoing consultation and client support.

They act as lighting design and planning consultants, procurement specialists, installation coordinators, and the first line of technical support.

What types of training and certifications do Phantom sales representatives normally obtain?
US Phantom manufacturer sales representatives train extensively in lighting technology itself. They learn lighting fixtures, electrical design, low voltage lighting configurations, lamping options, and bulb types. This technical skill set forms the foundation upon which the Phantom manufacturing sales rep builds a commercial or residential lighting design.

Architectural expertise also plays a pivotal role as well in our lighting arrays. Interior architecture often features custom designs that require careful scrutiny and special customization of Phantom Contour projectors and Low Voltage Lighting Systems. Sales reps frequently cross train with architectural firms to learn how to spot these nuances and customize product orders at the factory level..

Do Phantom’s manufacturing sales reps offer phone based or face-to-face consultation?
Both. Canadian Sales representatives for Phantom manufacturing are renown for their consultations skills. They have been trained to listen very carefully to client objectives and to meticulously examine commercial and residential environments. Detailed assessment is paramount prior to choosing any equipment.

Once our sales representatives determine that Phantom products are a fit for the needs at hand, manufacturing is then fed the details of client consultation, design plans, and data collected from the environmental analysis. This allows the factory to custom build each LED lighting strip specific to a client’s office or home, and even fine tune the product to specific lighting requirements.

Do Phantom sales reps do actual lighting design?
In terms of detailed planning and product customization, yes.

It is necessary for our agents to handle the planning phase of design for two reasons. First, it ensures that the proposed design and the manufactured end product fit together hand in glove. Secondly, it makes it easier for contractors to safely configure and install the fixtures themselves because our lighting manufacturer sales representatives have already laid the groundwork for them.

Phantom Lighting installation is carried out by contractors whom we rely upon who know our technology and have the advanced skills necessary to properly install and configure Phantom products.

Phantom manufacturing sales representatives coordinate procurement, shipping, and installation of our products. This service is provided both as a courtesy to our clients and as a guarantor of product quality. Customized, sensitive equipment must be shipped, handled, and installed by qualified professionals.

Do Phantom manufacturing sales representatives offer technical support?
Yes. They distribute product information free of charge to all serious inquirers and routinely attend trade shows throughout North, Central, and South America. Of course, you can always contact the factory toll free at 800-863-1184 X 125 or visit our lighting blog for more helpfuls Phantom Lighting technical support.

Phantom manufacturing sales reps also make it a point to integrate customer service into the sales cycle from consultation to closing.

Should any technical support issues arise, the Agent is the first point of contact for troubleshooting and solution coordination.

Phantom lighting strips are the best way to illuminate a bookcases, breakfronts, cabinets and antique furniture.

I am interested in lighting an antique cabinet. However, I do not want to see the lights or modify my cabinet to fit the lights. Can the lights be mounted vertically without damage to the cabinet?

PHANTOM STRIP LIGHTS can most certainly be installed in a vertical mounting position without having to modify the cabinet.

We have a special vertical trim that has a custom glare shield designed for just this type of application. The glare shield blocks your view of the light bulbs from angles up to 90 degrees. That means even from the most severe angles, you will not see the lamp but, enjoy the objects that are being illuminated.

The VM Series or Vertical Mount Series is a custom built low voltage lighting fixture that can be installed in cabinets with fixed or adjustable shelves. Whether you have wood shelves or glass shelves, the lights can be fabricated for a perfect fit. The metal trim can be field notched to clear the shelves and the lamps can be custom spaced for uniformity and even illumination. Small low voltage transformers power the lights and can be hidden either above or below the cabinet and used in combination with a dimmer control, the lighting is magical.

VM SERIES FEATURES
  • Solid metal trim with glare shield specifically designed for vertical applications
    • Designed for fixed wiring applications such as free standing furniture and antiques
    • Perfect for retrofit or remodel applications
    • Maximum shielding from extreme side view angles
    • Multiple trim shapes available to seamlessly direct the light for custom applications
    • ETL Approved

Phantom lighting is all about hiding the light source and installation techniques vary by wiring methods. Rather than take a stock fixture and modify it to fit your cabinet, we manufacture a custom fixture that is made especially for your job. So if you want to illuminate a cabinet, breakfront, armories or adjustable shelves, Phantom Lighting is right for you!
