Phantom Contour Projectors are designed for optimum fine art lighting and all of them have the following features and specifications:

Projector: Constructed of .25 (SCH40) aluminum with variable optics system consisting of (2) 39mm focal lenses and (2) 60mm condensing lenses designed for both long and short throws as well as off-center mounting. The special Achromatic focal lenses produce crisp sharp lines without chromatic abnormalities.

Lamp: Proprietary LED light engine with a custom concentric parabolic reflector, aluminum heat sink, active DC cooling fan and CREE© XHP70 3000K LED with 90+ CRI and average lamp life of 30,000 hours.

FFL Series:

The Phantom FFL Series (float finish or zero sight line) housing is used for custom applications when a visible cover plate would be inappropriate for the ceiling finish. The result is a penetration of the ceiling that is virtually invisible when painted, textured or wall papered to match the ceiling. If attic access is available, lamp changes can be made by removing and replacing the top lid of the housing.

Housing: Constructed of .06 (#5052) aluminum, this sturdy housing is low profile and designed to accommodate the most demanding application. Low profile IC-RATED square housing is engineered for applications that require a zero sightline ceiling appearance. The unique two-part cover plate is designed to overlap ceiling material providing a smooth surface while removable center panel with oval slot and custom glare shield provides easy access and maximum concealment.

Electrical: Includes auto-sensing 120-277V, 50/60Hz, 1750mA constant current electronic LED driver, Tri-Dimming (MLV forward phase, ELV reverse phase, 0-10V) and a non-dimming 12VDC fan power supply. Optional on-board 0-10V dimmer control available for setting output levels.

Masking Methods: There are three masking methods available for the LED Contour Projector: standard aluminum shutters for square or rectangular artworks, custom-cut brass templates for multiple or irregularly shaped artworks, and stainless steel gobos (Rosco© Type M) for patterned lighting effects.

NCL Series:

The Phantom NCL Series (new construction housing) is designed for installation between floors as shallow as 10″ deep when access is not available from above. Mounting bars are designed for joist spacing up to 24″ wide. The round cover plate has a unique glare shield, tapered edge and matte white finish for a smooth ceiling transition.

A first in the industry, the Phantom RML Series (remodeler housing) is specifically designed for installation between floors without damage to the ceiling and the low profile design will fit in joists as shallow as 10″ deep. The round cover plate has a unique glare shield, tapered edge and matte white finish for a smooth ceiling transition.

The Phantom SML Series (surface mount or track mount) is the most economical, easy to install framing projector for the illumination of art on the market today. The sleek design, precision optics and adjustable shutters make the Phantom Contour Projector perfect for homes, offices, art galleries and fine restaurants. The projector is available in both a canopy as well as a track mount.

Mouting Canopy: The IP-RATED surface mount canopy is designed to easily attach to any 3/0 box or 4/0 box and comes with a universal bracket and mounting screws. Both the LED and fan drivers are mounted inside the canopy for easy connections. Standard canopy is round with optional square canopy available if desired.

The square housing comes with bottom heat shield and fixture bars designed for any rafter spacing up to 24” and will fit in 2” x 10” framing. A small oval trim ring with mounting tabs and adjustable glare shield is provided to conceal ceiling penetration and hiding the light source.
